lineMy Review

I must admit, I am a little sad that these 4 books have come to an end. This installment wasn’t as fast paced as the others. But it all came to a head at just the right point, but then it was all over far too soon. I finished the book not really knowing what happened in the hotel room. But the lead up to it was brilliant!

As this is the fourth book in the series, the characters are now definitely well established and we have learned a lot about them. I’m still not certain who my favourite character is. For example, Kat is driven, she has such a will to succeed that she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Amy and Erik are now in a relationship and although we didn’t go in the the relationship much, they were also an integral part of the whole story. I think more for grounding people than anything else.

Then there is Shaun Halloran, in jail for murder and wanting an escape route. He is quite a likable character if I’m honest. Kat was the one that put him where he is and obviously he wants revenge.

Marty Bridges, during the first 3 books he was on the up, but in the fourth book we have seen that do a complete U-turn and he needs Kat and her vodka business more than anything.

I am kind of hoping that the series will continue, but maybe delving in to the other characters a bit more. All four of these are definitely worth a read, especially if you want something quick.
