My Review

This is the fourth book in the series I’ve read and I cannot rave about this series enough! I love it!

So in this instalment, Ashley and Alexander are travelling back to Babylon, but they feel they are in a race against time before losing their son again. Ashley also realises that the death of Plexus is also imminent but she devises a plan to save him. She has also told Alexander about his death and that she wishes to save him too.

I still love all the characters but this one really does bring out my dislike for Alexanders mother, Olympias and one of his wives, Roxanne. They are pretty evil! When it was time for Plexus to die, I actually shed a tear as he is one of the main characters I love. He has been a staple part of the book.

This book is quite fast paced and was a bit easier to read as I knew what had happened previously (although there is a bit of back story throughout the book). These books are just flowing through time and I now have to get my hands on book 5. Read them, read them all!!!
